The Ultimate Wedding Checklist!

Weddings can be stressful as hell. We all have heard about or been around a bride or groomzilla that are overwhelmed by the pressure of their special day. However, thanks to the modern day and age, we are fortunate enough to connect with others around the world that have been through similar experiences that can offer some useful advice. Even better, we have taken initiative to put together the GREATEST WEDDING CHECKLIST EVER!
1. Pick your date and budget.

It's crazy to think that the date and the budget are related but weddings are a seasonal event. That means that there are times that are at higher demand than others, which means increase in prices. Therefore it is crucial to allocate a budget within your means before anything else. Once you have a comfortable amount of spending money in mind, then take the next step in picking a date, always keeping in mind that summer months will be more expensive than winter.  The next step is the hard one!
2.Select your venue.

Picking the right venue is a long and tedious process. With so many variables like food, views, size, flexibility and price, selecting a venue that is right for you can be difficult. Remember a lot of wedding venues offer different packages so if you love the venue but can't justify the price, see what they can offer you. Alternatively, shop around and don't be afraid to ask for a price match! The right venue will make the process so much more enjoyable and will take off major stress in the overall journey.
3.  Invitations and Bridal Party.

Your wedding day will only happen once (hopefully) so having the closest people in yours and your partners life around you is kind of the whole point. To make sure the date doesn't get doubled up, it is recommended to hand out the invitations well in advance. This will solidify actual numbers for you earlier so you are not paying for people that can't make it. One of the hardest decisions in the whole process is picking your bridal party. This is an extremely personal choice and will consist of the people that you imagine to be in your life for the rest of your life.

4.  Sound, Video and Entertainment.

To ensure that you have a smooth, fun and memorable night the selection of the right DJs, photography/videography and entertainment is absolutely imperative! In some cases cutting costs may be necessary but in this field, I strongly advise against going for the cheaper and less experienced option. DJs are like magicians in the way they can influence the crowd. If you have an inexperienced DJ expect to have inconsistency on the dance floor, boredom of the crowd and even having your guests leaving home early. Entertainment comes in all forms, whether it be dancers, singers, magicians, musicians or even of traditional styles.

A great videographer and photographer will be able fit all the most memorable parts of the day into a short clip that will be treasured for the rest of your life. Think about it; is this something you really want to go cheap on? Every single minute of this day resembles something of importance to you, whether it be preparations, church, speeches, first dance or dancing the night away. 5. The little things

Obviously there is a tonne of little things that must be addressed for your wedding; fittings, cakes, RSVPs, gifts, cars and the list goes on. being organised and having good support always goes a long way. writing a schedule of the night will clear your mind and give you much deserved peace. The most important thing to remember is to enjoy yourself as much as possible, as this process will be one that will never be forgotten.
